Description

The festival team consists of three departments which each holds an opportunity to join in during an internship:

In the editorial department, the aim is to edit the festival programme brochure; the editorial work involves communication with artists and event partners, gathering and organising material and texts, and drawing up and maintaining a layout plan to serve as the basis for the final brochure. Texts on artists and events are also written and information compiled. As the website is closely linked to the programme booklet, tasks relating to the maintenance of the website are also part of the work placement.

The festival organizational team takes care of all the practical arrangements and matters for running the festival. This includes communication with the artists to plan their stay and the concert or event. A comprehensive schedule for the festival days and the individual events is continuously being worked on. Catering and technical arrangements are being organised, and some administration work has to be done such as applications for the events to the Public Order Office, register with GEMA, check addresses for the festival celebration invitations. The visitor and guest management is also organized.

Press and public relations work focuses on the festival’s public image at various levels; we maintain contacts with advertising partners and the media, write texts, announcements and press releases, organise a press conference and run an information stand at trade fairs, and create content for our social media channels and collaborate with the invited artists.
